‘Your Name’ Anime English Dub Cast And Trailer Announced While It Continues To Dominate Japan’s Weekend Box Office

"Your Name" is the phenomenal anime by Makoto Shinkai. FUNimation recently announced the English dub cast for "Your Name" and released its first English-dubbed trailer. "Your Name" or "Kimi no Na Wa" is currently dominating the weekend box office in Japan.

Crunchyroll News reports that Makoto Shinkai's "Your Name" was among other animations films chosen to be a contender for the Academy Awards Best Animation Feature Film, FUNimation Entertainment will be releasing "Your Name" in theaters in North America starting with the Oscar qualifying run this December 2 to December 8 at the Los Angeles Laemmle Music Hall.

"Your Name" will get a broader audience as FUNimation Entertainment plans the theatrical release of "Your Name" early part of 2017. "Your Name" will have an English-subbed version and an English-dubbed version.

"Your Name" is currently the seventh highest-grossing film in Japan and has continued to dominate Japan's Weekend Box Office. Makoto Shinkai's anime, "Your Name", was the top film in Japan for nine consecutive weeks ever since its release last August 26.

"Your Name" lost its top rank in its tenth week when "Death Note:Light Up The New World" took the number one place. It returned to its number one place last weekend and is expected to hold the top rank for the foreseeable future.
