Hotel heiress Paris Hilton recently revealed that she voted for president-elect Donald Trump during the elections last week. This is the first time that the actress talked about politics as per the latest presidential elections.

Paris Hilton is one of the many Americans who believes that president-elect Donald Trump will make America great again. She was being interviewed on Australian television called Network Ten specifically on the show "The Project" on Thursday and when asked if she voted for the real estate mogul, Paris Hilton paused for a few seconds and laughed nervously. The audience laughed with her before she confirmed that she voted for Donald Trump by saying, "I've known him since I was a little girl, so yes," Variety reported.

In the past, Paris Hilton said that she and Ivanka Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump, were quite close when they were growing up. However, she never admitted in the past that she would be voting for Donald Trump over Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Breitbart reported.

Paris Hilton and Donald Trump are also pretty close like they are a family. In 2004, Paris Hilton wrote a memoir entitled "Confessions of an Heiress: A Tounge-in-Chic Peek Behind the Pose." At the back cover of the memoir, Donald Trump wrote a message saying that he has known the heiress since she was young and he recognized her as a great beauty both on the outside and on the inside.

When asked by the hosts of "The Project" about that statement of president-elect Donald Trump about her, Paris Hilton said that it was amazing to have it on the back cover of her memoir noting that she has known him her entire life and he has always been supportive of her.

Paris Hilton is in Australia to promote her new fragrance called "Gold Rush" as well as to headline a tour as a DJ.
