'Justice League' Spoilers: This 'John Wick' Star Joins Cast

"Justice League" just included "John Wick" star Willem Dafoe in their already stellar cast although it doesn't look like he'll be playing a big part in it. Earlier this year, it was announced that the actor will play the role of Nuidis Vulko.

Vulko is Arthur Curry's aka Aquaman (Jason Momoa) science advisor, as per IGN. He is Aquaman's right-hand man and Dafoe's character will be present in the upcoming "Justice League" movie to provide counselling and guidance to the Atlantean king when he decides to join Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) to battle a global threat.

Earlier reports provided very little details about Dafoe's character. Other than Vulko is Aquaman's sort of chief-of-staff. Other than that, nothing more was said about the movie version of the Atlantean counsellor.

According to The Guardian, Dafoe's interview provided a few details about his upcoming role. According to the news site, Dafoe said that his involvement with the "Justice League" movie will serve as an introduction of his character and a deeper glimpse of the world of Atlantis.

Dafoe also said that his character, Vulko, will have a more significant role in the upcoming "Aquaman" film, which is set to be released sometime in 2018. In other news, Amber Heard is also slated to join the cast of "Justice League" and "Aquaman" as Arthur Curry's love interest, Mera.

"Aquaman" helmer James Wan spoke about the two underwater lovebirds. Bustle reported that Wan admired the integration of action and romance in movies such as the "Indiana Jones" series and "Romancing the Stone."

Wan thought that it was a great aspect of those films, which he wanted to incorporate in his "Aquaman" flick. He revealed that he is planning on having Arthur Curry and Mera at each other's throats at the start of the film. As the story progresses they'll start falling for each other until they're in sync at the end.
