Those who have followed DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" will remember Johnathon Schaech playing the part of Jonah Hex in Season 1. During the earlier episodes of "Legends of Tomorrow", Jonah Hex (Johnathon Schaech) played an important role that has helped the "Legends", thanks to his somewhat complicated friendship with Rip Hunter and this new season Johnathon Schaech returns as Jonah Hex once more.

Jonah Hex is back in the "Legends of Tomorrow" series but this time things will be different for him. Jonah Hex will be struggling to keep his relationship with the "Legends" as he adjusts to not having Rip Hunter, the man responsible for forming the team of the "Legends of Tomorrow", in the captain's seat.

Jeff Fahey will also be joining the series as Quentin Turnbull, an arch-nemesis to Jonah Hex. The portrayal of Jonah Hex in "Legends of Tomorrow" has gathered mixed reactions from fans of the DC Arrowverse.

Some have said that the "Legends of Tomorrow" episode felt like the Arrowverse's version of what a Jonah Hex movie would be like. According to ComicBook, Johnathon Schaech felt like they were preparing to make a movie out of the Jonah Hex character.

Jonah Hex stands out from other DC superheroes in that he is a hero without superpowers and basically relies on his own skills which he acquired through the course of his life. Jonah Hex was originally created for an old western cowboy era, but with "Legends of Tomorrow" his character was totally reinvented.

Thanks to the addition of time manipulation and time travel plot devices in "Legends of Tomorrow", characters of old like Jonah Hex can meet with the new modern heroes of Legends. DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" is being aired every Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
