'Uncharted 4’ Release Date, News, & Updates: Chloe Frazer Returns in ‘The Lost Legacy'; Standalone DLC Game Per Naughty Dog

After missing out on "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," Naughty Dog unveiled during the PlayStation Experience 2016 that the fan favorite Chloe Frazer returns for another series: "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy." Also revealed is that the latest game is not a usual DLC but rather a standalone DLC.

During the PlayStation Experience 2016 in Anaheim, California, last weekend Naughty Dog unveiled another addition to the "Uncharted" series but this time, Nathan Drake's story was not told. The creative genius behind the game has another story to tell.

According to a report, "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy" will be set in India and will delve "deep" into Hinduism and mythology. During the panel discussion at the PlayStation Experience 2016, Naughty Dog creative director Shaun Escayg mentioned that the game will be Chloe's story, which will be totally different from that of Drake's, as reported by TechBuffalo.

Moreover, "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy" will take place after "Uncharted 4" events, where Chloe will work with Nadine Ross, the villain in the previous game. Both characters will be in search of the Tusk of Ganesha.

IGN reported that Kurt Margenau also discussed the game length of "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy." It will be shorter than "Uncharted 4" but longer than "The Last of Us: Left Behind."

Meanwhile, Forbes reported that Naughty Dog's "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy" will be both available as a standalone DLC and as part of the season pass. However, gamers and fans only have until December 13 to get their hands on the season pass or the Digital Deluxe version of "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy," which comes with the season pass.

As for the release date, Naughty Dog is yet to reveal the date and price of "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy." As of the moment, savor first the trailer below.
