'Deadpool’ 2 Updates: Sequel Is A Mutant Galore With Domino, Cable, & Copycat; New Cast Revealed! [SPOILERS]

"Deadpool" the hit superhero movie starring Ryan Reynolds promises an even more exciting sequel with latest spoilers detailing the addition of powerful mutants such as Domino and Cable in its next installment. Meanwhile, Deadpool's girlfriend, Vanessa (played by Morena Baccarin) will reportedly be revealed to have superpowers as well which would give way to the character of Copycat. With all these exciting news about 'Deadpool 2," fans will surely be excited to learn more about this film.

As published in Yibada, Copycat will be a huge part of "Deadpool 2." Fans who know the character of Wade Wilson from the popular comic book know that Vanessa was shown as a former stripper with shape-shifting abilities which can be likened to the power of Mystique. Even if known as mutant Copycat in comics, the fist Deadpool movie did not mention or hint any of this happening.

The creators reveal that this is intentional as they believe introducing Copycat too early might steal the spotlight from "Deadpool." In the sequel though, viewers can expect to see more of Vanessa's special abilities.

Meanwhile, a CinemaBlend article confirms that Domino and Cable will also be part of 'Deadpool 2."The article also comes with the news that the movie has a new director in the person of David Leitch which also works on the film, "John Wick." With Tim Miller exiting the movie production, it has been reported that there is a strong chance for the release date to be delayed.

For the casting, some of the names that are rumored to be part of the film include Ron Perlman, Stephen Lang and Liam Neeson for the role of Cable. Meanwhile, Mackenzie Davis, Lizzy Caplan, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Sienna Miller are reportedly being considered to play Domino.

"Deadpool 2" starring Ryan Reynolds is a much-anticipated film and if there will be no change of plans then it is scheduled for release in Jan. 2018.
