According to The Guardian, the final episode of "Westworld" Season 1 thus kept its promise to give a proper conclusion to the all the puzzles in the stories. It opens to the scene of Dolores waking up to see Arnold. It will then be revealed that Dolores is actually being controlled by a voice in her head which belongs to the villain, Wyatt.


The Man in Black also turned out to be connected to William who just like Dolores has become ensnared in a dark realm of past hurts. This circumstance led him to be the mysterious man who is likewise the owner of the park. In the end, viewers saw the host now in full consciousness with a clear goal to take back their world and a determination to destroy everyone who will prevent them from doing so.

Meanwhile, based on the Twitter post, fans of the series have mostly given the finale a thumbs up. Some even came up with theories that given the strange plot of "Westworld" have a chance of becoming a reality. As posted in Digital Spy, not a few theorize that the character of Ford will still be back in Season 2 as he also indeed made a clone of himself. Apparently, Dr. Ford created a host clone and that is the one who died in Season 1.

"Westworld" will be back for Season 2 in 2019 so the best thing that fans can do for now is to watch the whole Season 1 again. Maybe then, the plot will not be so confusing.
