Duggar Family News Update: Amy Duggar King Slams Divorce Issues

The marriage of Jim Bob's daughter, Amy Duggar King, has been speculated to be on the verge of divorce. Latest reports seem to dismiss the divorce issues as Amy and husband Dillon King are happily married as ever.

Amy and Dillon King have been married for more than a year now. The couple has just finished filming "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" which features a story about being abused by someone as narrated by Amy. Apparently, this story strengthened the speculations that Amy is soon divorcing her husband.

In an interview with People, Amy Duggar King shared how they appreciate being a part of the reality show. "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" became a good avenue for the newly-wed couples like them, where they had the chance to identify and work out some marriage issues they are currently facing with.

Amy told the magazine that she and Dillon were enjoying a solid marriage even prior to joining the marriage boot camp. However, she also admitted that she and her husband had some heated arguments while in the camp, but they were able to iron things out immediately.

Meanwhile, the divorce rumors stemmed from the short teaser of "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" where Amy was spotted narrating a story of being abused by someone. Amy clarified this rumor and told People that it was not Dillon King who abused her. It was actually a frightening incident where someone had taken her up the ceiling by her throat. Amy explained that it was just a challenge in the said reality show.

Furthermore, Amy reiterated that Dillon is a good man who loves her so dearly. Amy defended her husband by saying he was not involved in the scary incident she was narrating in the show's teaser video.

Amy ended the interview by sharing her gratitude on the marriage boot camp. According to Amy, the boot camp helped them improve their communication and further made them grow deeply in love with each other. Amy even said, "We are in a very good place."

Moreover, Amy took to her official Twitter account a message to further clarify the issue. Amy tweeted that Dillon was not involved in the story she was caught sharing at the teaser clip of "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars."
