‘Conan Exiles’ New Trailer Showcased Survival Gameplay, Can You Survive Hyborea?

The new trailer of "Conan Exiles" showcased the survival elements of the upcoming game. Creators of the game discussed the specifics of surviving in the world of Hyborea.

"Your first moment in Conan Exiles are gonna be pretty rough, cut down from across, left in the sand to die, you need to find yourself water, you can start thinking about building bows, arrows for hunting," according to the game's lead designer Oscar Lopez Lacalle. Conan Exiles is not the typical survival hack and slash game. Conan Exiles goes way further than that. The game is designed to create an authentic experience in survival and domination. The game requires the player to gather resources from the land to make simple tools, weapons. The game also requires the player to hunt animals and cook the meat before consuming.

The vast land of Hyborea also contains may mysteries hidden in the desert which the player can explore. Deep caves, ruins, and dungeons are scattered all over Hyboria. These areas are also plagued with giant scorpions, huge spiders, and reapers.

The new trailer of Conan Exile showcased what's in store for the players in the harsh environment of Hyborea. The video also showcased some of the creatures and their weaknesses. Thralls also play a big part in the player's survival especially in building his fortress. Thralls can defend the player's turf, create different types of weapons.
Sandstorms are also common and the developers gave two options in order to survive a Sandstorm which is to find shelter or craft a re-breather mask.

Religion is also the main factor in surviving "Conan Exiles." Thralls are the main component of the religion especially in summoning avatars to smite the player's competition and also keeping the character sane from spiritual corruption.All in all Conan Exiles is a very ambitious project by the development team, and as far as the trailer and game-play looks, is doing quite well.
