Series co-creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy teased some details about the upcoming season 2 while actor James Marsden gave out a firm statement saying talks about the new season are just "pure speculations."

"Westworld" creators revealed to TVLine that the focus of the upcoming season will be the hosts and what they will experience in the park. The other minute details of the park do not matter anymore so they did not highlight "how unreal" the park was. Fans of "Westworld" will no longer get answers to their questions on how the park takes care of its child guests and if a guest can do more if he pays more, as these are no longer pertinent. Jonathan Nolan emphasized that the upcoming season will feature more about how a guest would feel when inside the park, and that it is more about the Westworld experience.

Also, series creator Jonathan Nolan revealed that the unveiling of mysteries behind the Westworld experience will transpire just shortly before the beginning of mayhem. Fans of "Westworld" will have to look forward to discovering how it feels to be inside the park when the series returns for season 2.

Meanwhile, in an interview with ET, James Marsden seems to have made a strong statement regarding news about season 2. When asked if he will return to season 2, the actor said he does not know yet.

According to James Marsden, they only get to see the scripts in about four or five days prior to shooting the next episode.
