‘Chicago Med’ Season 2 Episode 9 Spoilers: Life-threatening Cases While Doctors Clash With Varying Opinions

"Chicago Med" season 2 episode 9 will be a crucial time for the doctors as they are faced with life-threatening cases. To make things more complicated, spoilers reveal a rift between Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) and Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) will be witnessed when the series returns in January next year.

The promo video and synopsis (via Spoiler TV) for episode 9 of "Chicago Med" season 2 titled "Unchartered Territory" have just been released giving the fans an intense preview of the upcoming episode. The patients that the doctors will handle are in terrible shape and immediate treatments are required.

Dr. Charles was assigned by Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) to evaluate a patient who is in dire need of a heart transplant. The process will not be easy and Dr. Charles will have to weigh things accurately to be able to come up with a tough decision to give or not to give a go signal for the heart transplant. Things become more intense as the promo clip also reveals that Dr. Rhodes will intervene to push Dr. Charles to allow the patient to get the heart transplant soonest possible but the latter cannot agree yet. Fans of "Chicago Med" will witness the two doctors will clash with their varying opinions about this particular case.

On the other hand, Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) will also be tasked to handle a life-threatening case. Two MMA fighters will be treated by Dr. Choi and the synopsis says the two fighters are in terrible shape. Interestingly, the doctor is said to learn a significant lesson from this case.

Furthermore, a potential rift might also occur between Dr. Stohl (guest star Eddie Jemison) and Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss). Apparently, Dr. Stohl has returned from his sabbatical leave and will give an unsolicited opinion opposing Dr. Halstead's thoughts regarding the latter's patient.

The upcoming episode 9 will also feature Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) in a truth revelation spot from his lover Jeff (guest star Jeff Hephner). The latter is said to make a confession to Dr. Manning. The new episode is yet to unveil the details of this confession.
