‘Deadpool’ Star Ryan Reynolds Reactions To His First Golden Globe Nominations: Throwing Dirty Diapers And Ticke-fight

Fans of Ryan Reynolds will be delighted to know how their beloved star reacted when he received that one of the most important calls in his lifetime. It seems that Ryan is consistent with his "Deadpool" character as he has reportedly thrown a pile of dirty diapers when he got the advise of his first ever Golden Globe nominations. He also revealed to have a tickle-fight with the rest of the "Deadpool" team.

Aside from his excellence in acting, Ryan Reynolds is also a star in his fatherly duties. Apparently, the actor was busy taking care of his baby when his phone rang. Reynolds happily detailed that momentous Golden Globe nomination call to Entertainment Weekly. It is quite surprising that this is the first time that Golden Globe has recognized his brilliant acting skills.

A moment prior to the call, Ryan Reynolds was actually staring at the pile of dirty diapers. When the phone rang, the actor even thought that it was about a sad news of a family member's death. Then, just like his playful "Deadpool" character, he joked adding his brother has already eaten the corpse.

After hearing the much coveted nomination news, he came back to his fatherly duties and threw the dirty diapers into the bin. Amazing how he remains low-levelled upon getting his Golden Globe nominations and get back to cleaning out poopy diapers.

Ryan Reynolds expressed how he felt after hearing the good news. The actor told the magazine that the nomination is meaningful to him as he has been in the industry for 25 long years. He even admitted that he also had his share of doubting his skills and if his movie will ever make it or not.

Furthermore, Ryan Reynolds revealed he has mixed emotions with the nominations. The actor said he is happy and shocked to know that they got nominations in two categories, in the Best Actor and Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy categories.

This would be the first time that a superhero film adaptation of a comic book was nominated for Best Motion Picture in Golden Globe. Ryan Reynolds knew that value that is why he admitted he was shocked with the nominations.
