‘Star Wars: Episode 8’ Updates: Trailer Delayed For ‘Rogue One’ Movie?

Fans of "Star Wars" are now clamoring for the official trailer for the highly anticipated "Star Wars: Episode 8" movie, which was expected to have been released when the franchise aired the "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." Unfortunately to the dismay of the fans, there is still no trailer coming out until now. When will the official trailer for "Star Wars: Episode 8" come out? The lead stars of the upcoming sequel gave out some thoughts about the delayed release of the trailer.

"Star Wars: Episode 8" star Daisy Ridley (playing the role of Rey) teased that the trailer might come out in the upcoming celebration next year. The actress explained that it might take some time as they are not rushing things, taking one little step at a time.

Ridley also shared that she felt very happy when she saw some works at the editing room with Rian Johnson. Ridley seems to suggest the feeling that fans will also get when they get to see the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode 8."

Furthermore, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy also revealed that a footage is soon coming out for "Star Wars: Episode 8." Kennedy also said that fans can begin seeing spoilers when it nears spring, as they are still focused on the "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," Screenrant reported.

Meanwhile, Adam Driver (playing the role of Kylo Ren) has shared his thoughts about the delay of the trailer for "Star Wars: Episode 8." The actor portrayed the role of Kylo Ren from the first installment of the "Star Wars" trilogy, and will reprise his role in the upcoming installment too. Adam Driver told Cinema Blend that the non-release of a trailer for the upcoming sequel is such a bold move from the studio, and he actually loved it. The actor emphasized that the fewer information that fans acquire regarding the movie, the more it becomes exciting.

"Star Wars: Episode 8" is expected to be released on Dec. 15, 2017.
