‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Spoilers: Will We See Elena & Caroline Return For Damon & Klaus? Which Other Characters Will Return?

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is indeed the last season of the series. As the fans await the ultimate fate of the characters of Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Stefan (Paul Wesley), and Caroline (Candice King), many are also anticipating the return of some of the characters who have left the show. The showrunner Julie Plec promised a satisfying finale and fans are assuming that it will include the return of the characters of Elena (Nina Dobrev), Klaus (Joseph Morgan), and Tyler (Michael Trevino).

According to an article in The Siver Times, one thing that fans would like to see in the last season is the reunion of Klaroline - a term referring to the love story of Klaus and Caroline. Rumors are even claiming that if this will indeed happen in "TVD's" Season 8, then the Caroline would have to crossover in "The Originals."

No confirmation about this reunion has been made yet but Candice Arriola, the actress who play the role of Caroline in the series expresses her willingness to work with Joseph Morgan, the actor playing Klaus again. The actress mentioned this during a TVD convention which was recently held in Orlando.


Candice King likewise reveals more plot spoilers for "The Vampire Diaries' Season 8 as posted in TVLine. The beautiful celebrity said that the final season will answer a lot of questions. She added that it will feature the history of Donovan as well as learn more about the father of Matt.

Of course, followers of "The Vampire Diaries" have long been wishing for the return of Elena that will hopefully have a happy reunion with Damon. Aside from Elena and Klaus, another character according to rumors will return to Mystic Falls is Tyler Lockwood.
