Watch Out For The New Political Comedy TV Series, ‘Embeds’ Produced By Megyn Kelly And Starring Max Ehrich & Kelsey Asbille

Politics can be seriously funny which probably explains why shows such as Netflix's "BoJack Horseman" and HBO's 'Veep." Soon, viewers will have another political comedy series to watch out for and the title is "Embeds" starring Max Ehrich and Kelsey Asbille. This article details some information about this new comedy show that is produced by Fox anchor, Megyn Kelly and will premiere on Jan. 18, 2017.

According to a post from Variety, this comedy series follows the life of young reporters during a presidential campaign period. The plot will feature five fresh graduates who are working as journalists for different news organization and are tasked to cover an electoral campaign. By featuring scripts that are based on true events, "Embeds" is an attempt to feature the millennials growing role in the economy and society.

Previous reports about "Embeds" claim that it is supposed to release its first episode during the US Election day last Nov. 8. Time constraint might have prevented the creators from achieving this goal.

Along with Megyn Kelly, Michael de Luca and Scott Conroy are also executive producers. The writers for "Embeds" are Scott Conroy who co-writes the biography "Sarah from Alaska" and Peter Hamby who is head of the Snapchat's news department. Conroy and Hamby apparently got acquainted during the 2008 electoral campaign period wherein they were both working for networks, CBS News and CNN respectively.

"Embeds" will consists of six episodes that will be 22 minutes each as reported in The Wrap. The cast of embeds include Taylor Zakhar, Andre Jamal Kinney, Max Ehrich, Chloe Brooks, and Kelsey Asbill.

From the plot described above and the interesting cast, "Embeds" appear to be a hit in the making. Watch out for the premiere episode of new comedy show, "Embeds" on Jan. 18, 2017.
