‘Captain Underpants’ Plot Leaks! Check Out The Details Here!

"Captain Underpants," the movie adaptation of the hot-selling book, has been scheduled to be released in 2017. Check out below available spoilers to hype up your interest for this upcoming movie.

The upcoming "Captain Underpants" movie is expected to be another phenomenal hit movie as its book series has proven its popularity with over 50 million copies sold since 1997. It has been proven that most book adaptation movies were also patronized by its book readers, so this movie is anticipated to become a big hit too.

Aside from reaching the 50 million sales, the book series has been considered as one of the most controversial children's literary series. Apparently, the books were not allowed in many schools. This banning adds to the viewers' curiosity to see the movie adaptation.

Plot spoilers have revealed that the movie will revolve around elementary buddies Harold and George writing a comic book about the superhero, Captain Underpants. The two will accidentally hypnotize their school principal, Mr. Krupp. In addition, fans will see that Captain Underpants will acquire his superpowers once he has savored some "Extra Strength Super Power Juice."

As of press time, Dream Works has announced the movie voice cast includes Ed Helms (as Captain Underpants), Nick Kroll (as Professor Poopypants, the villain), Kristen Schall (as Edith), Jordan Peele (as Melvin), Kevin Hart (as George) and Thomas Middleditch (as Harold). Captain Underpants and Jerome Horwitz Elementary principal Mr. Krupp will both be voiced by Ed Helms.

The villain is reportedly been poked fun at because of his surname, Poopypants. This led him to devise a scheme to make everyone to also get a silly surname, Movie News Guide reported.
