The actor detailed that the studio is taking the movie into a different area. The upcoming "The Divergent Series: Ascendant" will evolve into another level where his character is no longer required.

The actor shared to the magazine that it did not bother him to be part of the action horror movie, after leaving the "Divergent" series. Theo James sees it as an expansion of his acting journey, as he said it is not healthy to just do the same craft.

In another report, co-lead star Shailene Woodley has also stated that she has not signed up a contract to be included in a television show.
