How Long Will David And Snow Gets Sleepless Nights In ‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6?

The next half of "Once Upon A Time" season 6 will continue to explore the arc of the sleeping curse that has taken captive of Snow (played by Ginnifer Goodwin) and David (played by Josh Dallas). Unfortunately, things will get worse for the beloved sleepless characters of the hit series. Spoilers reveal that David will do something that turns the series into a more intense one.

Prince Charming David will attempt to protect his wife Snow from the schemes of Evil Queen (played by Lana Parrilla). While under the cruel curse of sleeping, the couple will try to find a way to break the curse. At the same time, Evil Queen will also devise to kill Emma (played by Jennifer Morrison) while David and Snow are under the curse. This evil plot will push David to make a critical decision to keep Snow from sleeping while he tries to go against the Evil Queen's plan.

Fans can recall that the previous midseason finale of "Once Upon A Time" featured how David has allied with Hook (played by Colin O'Donoghue) to protect Storybrooke from harm. The finale also showed how Regina has rescued Emma from the wish realm.

Furthermore, reports are now claiming that the mystery about David's father and his lack of sleep will result to unleashing the darker side of David. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Edward Kitsis revealed that David is about to reach his breaking point. Since Snow will not be around to tame him, Prince Charming will begin to succumb to his "darker impulses."

The showrunner also explained that the absence of Snow in the current journey of David will force the latter to face his own demons. Kitsis also described that Prince Charming will be at his wits end.

In another interview, the showrunner told TVLine that fans can see David struggling as he will be put in some troubling situations. Kitsis pointed out that the sleeping curse will impact greatly on David as it has resulted in David being away from Snow, who is David's "calming center."

Edward Kitsis further teased that the sleepless days of Snow and David will not last throughout the whole season 6. However, the showrunner did not reveal the length of time the couple will be spending sleepless nights.

"Once Upon A Time" Season 6 is set to return in March 2017 on ABC. Check out the teaser below.
