Mike Fisher Shared The Heartbreaking Miscarriages of Carrie Underwood

Mike Fisher and Carrie Underwood shared in the trailer of their new series entitled "Mike and Carrie: God & Country," their road to parenthood.

The couple recalled the pain they suffered after discovering that Underwood had multiple miscarriages before she got pregnant with their first child, Jacob. The pair are parents to Isaiah Michael, 5, and Jacob Bryan, 16 months.

The former professional ice-hockey player said that after hearing many times that his 37-year-old wife said that she lost her baby, his reply would say, "Again?" He added by saying that Underwood had all these "mountaintops," but they had not had lots of "valleys" like that.

Carrie Underwood swore not to marry Mike Fisher

Underwood also shared in the video clip of the trailer that she always swore that she would never marry a hunter as a child. She added by saying that "not in a million years." Fisher then replied with a laugh and a smile at his wife's declaration.

Series to reveal the couple's married life

The couple's series will give fans an up-close and unfiltered peek into their relationship and faith through the weekly episodes. They will show how they sustain their marriage even though they sometimes have different views on life sharing about their loss and finding purpose beyond their accomplishments as professionals.

As a former hockey player, Fisher got featured in a short film series in 2014, which will be the second time to appear in a nonprofit project. He said that after filming "I Am Second," he has seen how God has continued to grow his faith as he and his wife walked together through natural joys and struggles in life.

He said that the new series hopefully serves as a reminder to every one of God's faithfulness in every situation, not just a continuation of the "White Chair" film in 2014. Underwood added that they wanted to inspire people by sharing their journey and taking another step into pursuing a relationship with God.
