Frank Ocean new album release date rumors are starting to resurface once again. The highly anticipated follow-up album to his 2012's Channel Orange, has been getting a lot of attention even though a confirmation about its existence has not yet been made.
The hype for the second album just got real after Frank Ocean new album theories point to his cryptic new post on his official website. The photo shows a date-stamped card that says "Due Date". The card has been stamped with several dates, but the smudged July 2016 date has been predicted to be the rapper's new drop's release date.
According to MTV, Frank Ocean's new album entitled "Boys Don't Cry" could be unveiled later this month. Fans can remember that Ocean has already teased that a July 2015 launch for the new album was underway. However, one year has already passed, but no new album has been released.
Since the Frank Ocean new album announcement was made last year, snippets of his reported new music has been leaked online. Billboard noted that low-quality rips of his new singles surfaced online in February 2016 after a rumored secret listening party, but were quickly removed.
Ocean's producer, Malay, previously teased in a March Pitchfork interview that the Frank Ocean new album could probably drop in a month. "I always tell people: When he's ready, the world is gonna get it," he said.
"It could be tomorrow...well not tomorrow but maybe a month [laughs]. We've all been working hard. He's been working super hard," he continued. "I feel like he's working harder than he's ever worked in his life. I'm excited for everyone to hear it. I think people are going to be pleasantly surprised, for sure."
