"The Elder Scrolls 6" by Bethesda came with one of the more interesting news at E3 2016. PR and Marketing Vice President, Pete Hines is now speaking up for Bethesda Game Studios and executive producer Todd Howard in defense of the decision to release "The Elder Scrolls 6" much further down the line.
WCCF Tech cites an MMORPG.com interview with Pete Hines where the Bethesda VP made clear his support for the schedule that Todd Howard and the team chose for "The Elder Scrolls 6." Petes Hines expressed that Bethesda Game Studios should not be seen as a vending machine by "The Elder Scrolls" fans.
"They're not a two-button vending machine, where first we press Elder Scrolls and then we press Fallout, and then we press Elder Scrolls and then we press Fallout," Pete Hines said. "I, for one, am perfectly willing to ask questions, but I'm not going to second guess Todd Howard when he says we want to do this next, and this, and then Elder Scrolls VI happens somewhere down here," Pete Hines said further.
Pete Hines highlighted that Todd Howard and Bethesda Game Studios successfully turned each of their four latest games into "Game Of The Year" and so would know when "The Elder Scrolls 6" would best be timed. Interestingly, Pete Hines shared that the Bethesda VP knows what Todd Howard and Bethesda Game Studios are working on for the next ten years and each project would give fans different reasons to get excited.
Parent Herald cites reports highlighting that Bethesda may indeed need that break from "TES" before rolling out "The Elder Scrolls 6." As successful as the franchise remains, "TES" fans are aware that Bethesda has a few things to refine in "The Elder Scrolls" games.
For the time being, Bethesda offers "The Elder Scrolls Online" and "The Elder Scrolls: Legends" as fans wait for "The Elder Scrolls 6." What do you think of this strategy by Bethesda on "The Elder Scrolls 6?"
