"Take You Away" singer Michael Buble may be back on stage soon to continue his on-hold career. The Canadian singer's wife, actress Luisana Lopilato, recently announced that their three-year-old son, Noah, is now cancer-free and doing well.
The pair shared with a heavy heart last year that their first-born got diagnosed with liver cancer, and this prompted the singer to focus on his ailing child until he recovers. After four months of chemotherapy treatment, Lopilato broke the good news through a press conference and announced Noah's recovery, Stuff said in a report.
The Argentinian actress also said that Noah's sickness changed a lot of their perspective in life. "It happened to us," Lopilato said. "Now I value life much more, the now and the today. I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love, and I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this."
Buble and Lopilato's previous update of Noah's condition came in February. In a Facebook post, the multi-awarded singer thanked everyone who sent prayers and well wishes to Noah. Buble also expressed gratitude to the medical experts helping their child overcome liver cancer.
When the pair announced Noah's condition in November, experts believed that the three-year-old had a 90 percent chance of recovering from the disease, as reported by Refinery29. Now, reports said the toddler is in a remission.
The 41-year-old singer was supposedly the host of the 2017 Brit Awards until he backed out when he announced his son's life-threatening condition. Per E! Online, he also backed out in his BBC Music Awards performance to focus on family matters.
