Ciara Prepares for Her Third Pregnancy During Quarantine
Ciara is expecting her third child with husband Russell Wilson, with whom she shares her two children, Future, 6, and Sienna, 3.
The "Level Up" singer told ET's Nischelle Turner that she is getting ready to give birth to her third child because she has to adjust to the new normal due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ciara's thoughts on pregnancy during the quarantine
Ciara said that when she heard she was going to have an ultrasound with only her in the clinic and her husband staying in the car, monitoring her through Facetime, she realized the severity of what was going on. She could not help but think about all the other people who are experiencing the same as her.
She started hearing stories of pregnant women who gave birth without their partners. Nevertheless, some said that the hospital has already allowed partners in with limited visits, so she said that apart from being a dad, Wilson is going to be both the photographer and videographer doing everything online. She also said that she is trying her best not to worry because she wants to find something positive during hard times like this.
Ciara Spends Quality Time with Family
Currently, Ciara is resting, relaxing, and spending more time with her family, who is keeping her busy. She said that she appreciates being together with her family now that they are required to lockdown. Although it is a surreal and unique time, she believes that there is a silver lining in all of these. She added that the good thing about what is happening right now is that they can be together as a family because normally, her husband would be in training right now.

Due to the sport's team canceling their sessions and Ciara postponing her show, their family is not used to spending a lot of time together. The singer said that in her previous pregnancy, Russell Wilson would be flying twice a week to be with her in California. Now, with her third pregnancy, Ciara feels lucky to be with her family. They are making the best out of their time together.
Ciara jokingly said that they are both stuck with each other, but she was amazed because it is abnormal for this to happen. Their schedule is just like when she is at home; her husband would be out doing football, so she said that currently is a lovely time for them amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Ciara Gives Back
Apart from donating one million meals to Feeding America in Seattle, Ciara has also teamed up with the USO and Munchkin baby products to conduct a virtual baby shower for the militaries' wives that are based at Fort Hood in Texas, Ciara's birthplace.
She said that she has a deep connection to any person, including the members of USO, because she is a military baby, so she could not help but think of them, especially at this time. She said that she wants to give her a token of appreciation to the mommas to let them know that they are remembered to provide them with hope.
The singer is also finding ways to connect with expectant mothers, so she has a "Women's Wednesdays" to talk with women.
