Hank Williams Jr.'s daughter, Katherine William-Dunning, died in a car crash in Tennessee. Reports disclosed that she was with her husband, Tyler Dunning, when the accident happened.

The family mourns the loss of the 27-year-old daughter of the country singer, Hank Williams Jr.

The car crash in Tennessee on Saturday

According to the initial investigation of authorities, Williams-Dunning drove the car while her husband was her passenger. They were in an SUV and was towing a boat.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said that the car rolled over after crossing the highway median. The car stopped only after the rollover sequence and crossing the northbound lanes.

Through an airlift, Tyler was brought to an emergency room after the car crash in Tennessee. His current condition is still not disclosed, as of writing.

On the other hand, Hank Williams Jr.'s daughter, Kate, was declared fatally injured in the case information provided by authorities.

Authorities have not disclosed the cause of the car crash in Tennessee and other details. The investigation is still ongoing.

On the night of the car crash in Tennessee, Sam Williams reportedly posted in his social media accounts to pray for his sister and brother-in-law.

He said, "NEED EVERYONE WHO SEES THIS TO PRAY FOR KATIE WILLIAMS RIGHT NOW

AND TYLER DUNNING !!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!"

In an Instagram post of Holly Williams on Sunday, she shared how she never thought their family photo last Friday was the last with her sister, Katherine Williams-Dunning.

The death of Katherine comes after the family mourned for their great aunt. The Williams family attended the funeral on Thursday, and the photo was something that Holly insisted on doing.
