She said that you could use Zoom, Facebook Live, or Google Hangouts to make real-time celebrations. You could also use Skype and Whatsapp. 

If you plan to use Zoom, enhance your experience by using a virtual background or touch up your appearance to add a filter to your face. If you are concerned about privacy, Lundy said you might choose to make the party private to close friends and family.

Record the meeting

One of the perks of going online is recording what is going on. Co-author of "The Motherly Guide to Becoming a Mama: Redefining the Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum Journey," Diana Spalding said that you have to get everyone's permission before recording. Recording the session is one of the great baby shower ideas that the host should not forget. 

Mix and match games 

Baby shower ideas will not be complete without games. Founder of "Dad Fixes Everything," Evan Porter, said that you could play many games over Skype or Google Hangouts. You could measure the belly, place bets on due dates, and others virtually.

Since we stay at home most of the time, it is nice to wear comfy pajamas or yoga pants. Now that there is a party, it is an excellent opportunity to dress up. You may also give a maternity or breastfeeding dress for your guest of honor.
