Viral video: Little girl pretends to sleep when caught red-handed

You probably need to ask a few tips from Amala. She is a cute little girl in a now-viral video circulating online.

Amala's little act caused the Internet to go crazy because not only did she bravely steal snacks from the cabinet, but Amala pretended she was asleep when she got caught.

According to NY Post, Amala's grandmother caught her stealing a pack of fruit snacks. Amala is a 21-month-old girl from New Haven, Connecticut.

Viral video of little girl

The video clip started with a woman calling the little girl. She held a pack of what appeared to be stolen goods in one of her hands - some snacks.

As the woman called Amala, the little girl continued to pretend to be asleep, as if she could not hear the person calling her. The woman also said that Amala already needs to put the snacks back in the cabinet. Amala was also asked to open her eyes, but the little girl chose to pretend still to be asleep.

The woman then asked, "You, asleep?" Slowly, she opened her eyes and gave out a cute smile. It was not clear whether the snacks were returned because the clip was cut.

Who would not love how little Amala handled the situation? Although, a little mischievous for her age, it was cute and adorable for some.

On Facebook, the video already has 1.6 million views and 31 thousand shares. Twitter users, on the other hand, are not taking it slow with around five million views and 82 thousand retweets.

People on the Internet are gushing on Amala's adorable act of pretending to be asleep.

Some parents are even saying that they see their children in the video, "This is so my middle daughter always doing the most and try to be slick. She stays sneaking snacks."

Another parent said he's glad he doesn't have a daughter, "I'm glad I don't have a daughter - one look like that, and I would let her have ALL the snacks."

Some netizens said that Amala's trick of probably trying to stay invisible is something every adult would dream of, "I think she's on to something. Do you know how many adults would close their eyes if it meant being invisible on the spot? Imagine being able to escape boring conversations."
