Mom who adopted 2 biological siblings now adopts the third sibling

Katie Page, a Colorado mom, went viral in 2019 after adopting two biological siblings. Now, she adopts their third biological brother.

Page found out in 2019 that the little girl, Hannah, 3, whom she was going to adopt then, was the sister of his first adopted son, Grayson, 4. Two years after her second adoption, she heard about one-year-old Jackson, the third sibling of Hannah and Grayson.

She told Good Morning America that she was so thrilled the minute she held Jackson. She thought to herself that she is letting him live with his bilogical siblings.

Similarities between the siblings

In May 2017, Page adopted Grayson, and then she received a call one month later about Hannah needing a foster home. In an instant, she took Hannah in, and she quickly recognized some similarities between the two kids. The mom told People that the children had similar features. She said that both have chin dimples and another feature in their private parts.

At first, Page did not know that they were real siblings. They were listed with different last names when their mom set them up for adoption. At the adoption agency, no one suspected the two to be siblings. The Page, a single mother, said that her family and friends did not believe her when she brought up the possibility. After unfolding the mystery, she found out that Grayson and Hannah came from the same mother.

Their DNAs matched

With a DNA test, she confirmed that the two being related had made it easier for her to adopt the little girl in December 2018 officially. The same situation happened when Page learned about Jackson. The one-year-old boy's mom also gave the wrong information and was supposed to be going with another foster family.

The caseworker stepped in and revealed the child's identity. The mom felt that the best she could give Jackson would be his family and siblings with whom he could feel connected.

Reunion of the siblings

Page officially adopted Jackson on June 25. GMA reported that the adoption ceremony included 30 loved ones over video teleconference. Two of the attendees were Kaci and Dustin Whitney. They are the adoptive parents of Page's three children's older sisters, Taylor and EadyGrace.

During a beach trip a month ago, all the siblings had the chance to meet. Page posted a photo on her Instagram. She wrote in the caption that it was the dream her heart desires before knowing the older sisters' existence. She also wrote that the day she adopted Grayson, she cried and mourned. Her heart was heavy that she had to tell her son that his real mom left him a few hours after his birth.

Page also wrote that she knew nothing else about their real family. She continued and wrote that now, three sisters and a brother will grow up with him. She also said that the little boy has more love and family members to love him than Page has ever dreamed about her son.
