Viral video: Mother saved by son's quick warning about a falling tree

In Alpharetta, Georgia, a mother and her kids enjoyed an afternoon at their backyard when an incident changed things.

The entire incident was caught on the family's home security camera.

In the viral video uploaded by Viral Hog, the kids were having a good time at the pool, while their mother was sunbathing.

Suddenly, a cracking was heard. Then one of the kids quickly shouted to their mother, "Run, mom!"

The mother was quick to her feet and ran away from where she was lying. Not long after, it can be seen in the viral video that a tree fell on the same spot the mother was lying.

In the viral video, the mother said in relief, "Oh my God! I almost died!"

His son then asked, "Are you okay?"

At the end of the viral video, a photo of where the tree landed was shown. The tree fell right across the pool bench that the mother was.

The incident happened last July 9. The video, which was uploaded by Viral Hog, already has more than 140,000 views.

Some of the netizens initially thought that the mother in the video was overreacting. That is because they thought only a few branches fell from the tree. However, they quickly changed their opinion when they saw in the final frames of the video how the entire trunk of the tree fell at the exact spot where she was.

Another netizen shared how this should be a lesson to everyone. The viewer said, "This is what happens when you only enjoy the shadow (of) your trees but never take care of them." The person who commented added that it should have been removed a long time ago with the state of the tree in the photo.
