Steve thought this is the perfect time to lighten things up a bit, so he thought of a matching face mask to his ties!
His daughter Kiana Montgomery posted photos of her fashionable father on Twitter, wearing his matching tie and masks.

Kiana first captioned her father's photo with a facepalming emoji, asking her dad, "Whyyyyy."

The photos caught the attention of Twitter users and quickly became viral.
Since the first photo, Kiana also uploaded a few updates on her dad's wardrobe.

It turns out that his dad also has matching socks for his tie and mask!
In an article published by mySA, Kiana shared that they were shocked that his dad's photos went viral. She said, "I don't have that many followers, so I was shocked."
Steve also got very shocked by the response he got from people online. Although at first, Steve was clueless when his daughter said his photos were going viral, "I was like 'what does the even mean.'"

The matching ties and face masks
Steve shared with mySA that wearing a matching tie and facemasks was started only a few days ago.
Steve's girlfriend is the one who makes the facemasks that would match his ties. The cloth for the facemasks was from pocket inserts. The other materials are dismantled parts from other masks.

The San Antonio dad said that matching outfits are really his thing. He said, "I'm known for matching, and I criticize people at work for not matching, so I really wanted to make this happen."
