Indeed, it is a remarkable day for the family, as they have been battling many medical challenges while Grayson grows up.
Grayson was born prematurely and is medically fragile. He was adopted since birth by Diane and Tim. Since then, the couple has been doing their best to support their son.
Grayson has a Facebook page and a GoFundMe page that tells his story of getting better each day.
Young boy's struggles
The nine-year-old boy has been through a lot of surgeries and other life-threatening conditions. Not until he was four years old, Grayson had to breathe with a trach.

At the beginning of 2019, Grayson needed to go through hip surgery. He underwent surgery in March. After that, the young boy had physical therapy sessions.
All of these had risks to Grayson's life, but he manages to pull through, always.

Young boy's special bond with his "friend."
Part of Grayson's condition is that he has difficulty communicating with other people. However, when he was three years old, he started showing signs of communication when he met a new friend, the mascot Ms. Wuf!
Since then, the mascot and the person inside the mascot have been close and bonded.
Until today, Grayson has become a big part of Ms. Wuf and the volleyball and basketball team of the mascot.
