An Atlanta dad's discipline to her daughter, which was seen in a viral video, drew a lot of attention from netizens. It also raised concerns from viewers.
However, the Altlanta dad says he does not regret the kind of discipline that he gave his daughter. The dad says that the only thing he regrets is broadcasting the way he disciplined his daughter.

According to reports, the viral Instagram videos, which were posted last September 5, showed the Atlanta dad and his daughter. In the viral videos, the teenager was disciplined by a man and woman who appears to be the dad and her stepmother.
The dad, Andrew Eugene Anderson, was seen kneeling on top of his teenage daughter. The 14-year-old girl was seen struggling. She was also heard screaming for the dad to let go of her.
According to WSB-TV, the video can be disturbing to watch.
Because of the viral videos, a lot of viewers called on the attention of the local authorities.

The dad's explanation on the disciplining
In an interview with WSB-TV, the Atlanta dad explained that he did not abuse his daughter. That is despite the accusations the dad received after the videos went viral.
Although the video has been described as disturbing, the Atlanta dad says that he did not strike his daughter.
He said, "I love my daughter, I don't want to hurt my daughter and I don't want her to get hurt."

The reason behind the discipline
The Atlanta dad explains that he had to discipline his daughter because of her actions in the past.
The 14-year-old daughter was said to have run away from home three times. That is only in a matter of two months.
Aside from that, the daughter was reported to have been repeatedly lying and stealing.
The father of the teenage girl said that he has repeatedly reprimanded his daughter; however, she was not listening. That led to the father to disciplining the teenager. The father said, "I just hope this situation will wake her up in a sense."
Even with the concerns raised for the Atlanta dad's disciplining, he still insists that he is not regretting anything that he did. He says that the only thing that he regrets is posting the videos on social media.

The police investigates
Because of the viral videos, the Gwinnett County Police is already investigating the incident.
Authorities confirmed that they have spoken with the teenage girl.
In a report by Fox News, Gwinnett County District Attorney Danny Porter says that the incident is under investigation, however, talking about possible charges is still early at this point.
Officials have also verified that the teenage daughter is now staying with family members.
