The mom of the eight-month-old baby girl, Vanessa Fernandes, uploaded the video. It was not the first time Fernandes shared a video or photo of her baby girl. However, she did not expect that it will get so much attention from the people on the Internet.

Instead of being afraid of their family's dog, the baby girl is so much at ease with cuddling the Rottweiler. The dog, on the other hand, is also seen hugging back the baby. Netizens think that the video is very heartwarming.

According to an interview of Swindon Advertiser with Vanessa, she shared that their Rotweiller, Hammer, became part of the Fernandes' family in 2018. That is despite the concerns of some relatives and friends. She said, "People kept saying that we shouldn't keep babies near big dogs. But I believe it's how you raise them."

Although some people told Fernandes that her baby should be kept away from their dog since there are some stories about dogs hurting babies because of jealousy. However, Vanessa never felt she needed to worry. She said, "I was never worried for her safety. Hammer has always been our son, and he will forever be. He is obedient, trustworthy, gentle, and protective."

Vanessa even describes Hammer as a great brother to her eight-month-old baby. She added, "He just completes our little family."

The mom also shared that her babies have a nice kind of bonding. She said, "They've bonded well together. For example, if she cries, he will literally run to the kitchen and pull on my clothes to tell me to follow him."
