The Minnesota mom

Scrivner is a hair and makeup artist who has two daughters. Her eldest is Lily who is already eleven years old, and her younger daughter is named Ellie who is only six years old.

In an interview with Good Morning America, she shared that this idea that she made for Halloween gave way to more bonding time between her and her daughters. She said, "It's a great way for us to bond and share something special together."

Although some of the characters are unknown to her girls, they still pursue recreating the hair and makeup because they like the characters.

Scrivner's husband has asthma, which makes him highly susceptible to the coronavirus. That is why trick-or-treating is a hard pass for the family. The 31 days of Halloween makeup was Scrivner's fun alternative for the kids.
