Chrissy Teigen Moves on from Tragic Loss of Their Third Baby

Chrissy Teigen openly shares her heartbreak after losing her and John Legend's third child. She publicly shared their joy about her pregnancy, and she also shared her grief about losing the baby. But a day ago, she wrote a piece about moving on.

Tears came out for feeling final

The mom-of-two wrote a post on Medium to help her move on with the pain. Tears came out as soon as she posted her piece because she said it felt "so final." She noted that she does not want to remember Jack again.

She shared a screencap of her post then shared it on her Instagram. She expressed her thanks for all the kind people and the incredible doctors who tried to keep their baby alive. She wants to thank the entire household for taking care of her after going through bed rest and helping her with adult diaper changes.

Thankful for her husband

Apart from that, she also thanks the people who gave her random hugs to help relieve her sadness. She is especially thankful to her husband, John Legend, for being the love of her life and best friend.

She explained that most people would think about the women during times like what they went through. However, she noted that her husband also suffered a lot in the past few months, but Legend made sure he did everything to take care of his wife.

Teigen felt grateful and lucky to be surrounded by a "human therapy blanker of love." Because of witnessing such kind of love, she is healing.

Her heartbreak

On September 30, Teigen and Legend's 20-week-old baby died. She posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram page, expressing her thoughts about the loss. She started by saying that they are both shocked and in deep pain that they have never felt before.

The successful model followed through by saying that despite lots of bags of blood transfusions, they were never able to provide their baby's needs. She noted that it was not enough for his profuse bleeding.

The TV host explained that they never gave their unborn babies names in the past until they were born. However, it was different for their third baby. For some reason, they called the little one in her belly, "Jack."

Teigen said that he will forever be "Jack" for them and that they would always love him. She is apologizing because they could not give him the home that he needed to survive. She also noted that the little one had so many complications during the first few moments of his life.

The internet personality thanked all the people that had sent them positive energy, thoughts, and prayers. She said that they truly appreciate them for all their love.

Teigen that while they are grateful for all the amazing things they have experienced, she noted that not every day is a sunny day. She explained that they would grieve and cry their eyes out during the darkest of the days. Finally, she said that they would hug and love one another to get through this tough part of their lives.
