The ultimate 'cheat' lasagna when you need to make dinner fast

Foodies obsess over the budget-friendly, 4-ingredient dinner by an Australian mum named Bree. She whipped up an easy layered lasagna recipe without being overpriced.

The lasagna recipe traded pasta sheets for a large packet of ravioli and beef ragu. Foodies have praised Bree for creating a simple yet sumptuous recipe.

The key, Bree revealed, is doing a lot of layers and checking to see that the sauce touches both top and bottom sides of the ravioli., Dailystar UK reported. Keep in mind, the Aussie mum used a non-cooked packet of ravioli.

The lasagna recipe is placed in a 200-degree oven for about 45 minutes. Then she lets the cheese brown by removing the foil and leaving it for another 10 minutes in the oven.

The recipe calls for one large packet of ravioli, Bree uses beef, a big jar of passata and a jar of pasta sauce, some roasted vegetables and cheese.

Mums revealed how the lasagna viral recipe is a perfect one to make a new recipe out of leftover ravioli, Dailymail UK revealed.

Keep in mind to use a 700g jar of passata. You may need a good pile of the cheese of your choice, and a 500g bowl of pasta sauce. If you want, you can add roasted vegetables of your choice. The recipe is good to serve with salad or garlic bread. Serves 4 people.

Further, if you like it creamier, replace one pasta sauce with lasagna sauce. Do not skimp out on the béchamel sauce. Also, forget not to season your lasagna with salt, pepper, and basil leaves.

Kraft Heinz Uses the Power of Slow Cookers

Amateur chefs are learning to use the slow cooker to whip up this lasagna viral recipe by Kraft Heinz, Dailymail UK reported. They are the largest food producer in the world. So, naturally many social media followers would develop a liking for the recipe.

This time the recipe uses 450 grams of minced lean beef, tomato sauce, an egg, mozzarella, parmesan, and ricotta cheese. First, cook the meat, drain and return meet to the pan. Add a jar of tomato and basil sauce with 1 cup of water.

Once drained, return the meat to the pan and stir in the tomato and basil sauce and a cup of water to loosen the mixture.

When you have extra time, make this

Combine one egg with a tub of ricotta, a cup of mozzarella and 2 tablespoons of Parmesan. The more the different types of cheese, the better, right?

So, now combine one egg with all the cheeses and a handful of chopped parsley. Then, carefully place one cup of the meat and pasta sauce into the slow cooker. Layer with pasta, the cheeses, and back to the meat sauce until you have three thick layers.

Slow cook on low heat for 4-6 hours. Finally, sprinkle cheese on top and leave to melt for 10 more minutes.
