Matthew McConaughey's New Magazine Cover Photo Was Taken by His Kids

Matthew McConaughey's new magazine cover photo was taken by his kids. In an Instagram post of the American actor's wife, Camila Alves McConaughey, a behind the scene photo was shared showing their kids taking a photo of their father in the garden.

According to Camila, some of the photos of Matthew McConaughey on covers of big-name publications were taken by their kids, Levi, Vida, and their younger brother Livingston.

The Instagram photo

The photo which was posted by Camila last December 4 has been garnering likes from netizens. In the photo shared how proud she is of her kids, "It's amazing to see what they have done! Very proud!!"

The throwback photo is a behind the scene photo of Levi and Vida trying to capture an image of Matthew McConaughey in their garden.

The two had to take over photographing their father because of the coronavirus pandemic. Camila said, "Because of quarantine we couldn't do normal photoshoots so our kids have become the professional photographers for Matthew's latest magazine covers!"

Both the kids were using smartphones when taking their dad's photo.

Being the photographers

In an article by People magazine, Camila shared that their kids enjoyed taking photos of Matthew McConaughey. She said "They're becoming a production crew. It's very cool, (and) they're starting to get kind of good at it."

The two kids were guided by photographer Devin Oktar Yalkin so that they can take the best photos. The photographer used FaceTime to guide the kids through the process. These photos were later on used for The New York Times in October.

The photographer said that even though the connection was breaking up during the photo shoot, the kids were patient in doing their tasks.

Yalkin shared that he enjoyed working with the two kids since they were very sweet and sincere, "They shared the camera, taking turns snapping. As a father myself, I was touched by the way they were with each other."

"Oh, this is so precious!" one Instagram user exclaimed.

Other netizens also commended the entire family, "I think your whole family is truly gifted!" Another one said, "Amazing beautiful family you children's have talent."

Most of the comments to the photo were heart emojis and clapping or applauding emojis.
