The star talked about how essential it is to open doors for diversity. Her Vogue cover photo shoot was done by Tyler Mitchell. It was the first-ever shoot done by an African-American photographer. She wanted to create a world for previously marginalized groups, where her kids could see themselves.

Beyonce explained that she wants her two daughters to see themselves in films, books, and on runways. She wants them to speak their minds and soar high above like they have no ceiling.

Raise boys to be emotionally intelligent

The singer-songwriter wants her son to grow up strong and brave. Other than that, she also wants her son, Sir, to be sensitive and kind. She noted that she wants her son to be truthful, honest, and caring, which shows having a high emotional IQ.

Teach kids the power of their existence

Beyonce shared that she had felt lost, neglected, and vulnerable due to her past experiences. She had felt disappointments not only in her personal life but also in both partnerships and business.

However, she now feels more beautiful, sexier, and more powerful after she had learned to laugh, cry, and grow through all the adversities. She wants her children to recognize the same in them.

Know their family history

The actress said that she came from a family of mistrust, power abused, and broken male-female relationships. She was able to resolve conflicts in her relationship when she saw that image.

She dug her past and ancestry then found that her lineage came from a slave owner who married a slave. Now, she understands why God blessed her with her twin children. For the first time, male and female energy grew and coexisted in her blood.

She believes that she would be able to break the generational curses in her family so her kids could live less complicated lives. It was all because she made peace with her past ancestry.

Give them freedom

The record producer said during the interview that she is unhappy unless she is free. She said that she wants her children to constantly improve, evolve, move forward, inspire, teach, and learn.

Beyonce believes that her children could explore any religion and fall in love with anyone or any race that they want. She noted that what is essential is that they are respectful, authentic, compassionate, and empathetic.
