Pedro Pascal's roles in movies make him the best dad of 2020. From The Mandalorian to Wonder Woman 1984 to We Can Be Heroes, Pascal's roles embody a great dad, which was something that fans noted last year.

A report from CBR.com enumerated the reasons why Pedro Pascal was 2020's best dad.

The Mandalorian

In the show, The Mandalorian, Pedro Pascal plays Din Djarin. He was a bounty hunter. Although he was not an actual father in the film, he became a good father figure to a force-sensitive creature named Grogu.

In the story, Djarin was supposed to bring Grogu as a bounty. However, as the story progressed, the character of Pedro Pascal became attached to the child and rescued him instead.

What made fans so heartbroken was the bittersweet ending of The Mandalorian. Because Djarin was successful in rescuing Grogu, this meant that the creature which Djarin has come to love as a child would need to return to the world of the Jedi with Luke Skywalker. Since the two are already family, being separated from each other was a little heartbreaking.

Wonder Woman 1984

Pedro Pascal played the role of Maxwell Lord in the film Wonder Woman 1984. He was a conman in the film and has a son named Alistair. In the film, Alistair only wants to spend time with his father. However, Max ignores his son.

It was Wonder Woman who convinced Max to relinquish the power of the Dreamstone and to find his son, Alistair. 

When the character of Pedro Pascal in Wonder Woman 1948 finally gave up his power, he assured his son that he will always have an unconditional love for him.

What makes the character of Pascal exhibit an outstanding father is the irony that even if he was evil and has some unethical behaviors, his motivations are always based on his relationship with his son.

We Can Be Heroes

In the film, We Can Be Heroes, Pedro Pascal portrays the role of Marcus Moreno. 

Moreno here is a single father to his daughter, Missy. He was the leader of the Heroics but has only agreed to manage everything from the office. However, unexpected circumstances have forced the role of Pascal in We Can be Heroes to go into the battlefield.

Although the film, We Can Be Heroes, was focused on the aspect of kids honing their skills, it was the relationship between Missy and Marcus that led to the success of their mission.

Pascal's role in this film once again exhibited the characteristics of the best dad since he instilled crucial leadership values to his daughter, Missy.
