A family in need got the sweetest thing anyone could have: a baby formula surprise. They were struggling financially when they suddenly encountered a random act of kindness to help them get through the week.

Shelbey Banks explained that she and her husband have been living with a tight fist budget due to the pandemic. On top of that, they have a seven-month-old baby whose needs have to be met too. That week though, they had no budget left to buy their young one's formula milk. An angel from heaven helped them buy what they need.

No money left for baby formula

The mom from Newburgh said their last paycheck went to their rent, leaving them with no spare cash to buy for their little one's formula. However, a random act of kindness has made her day.

Banks found it endearing because it was the first time she has ever encountered the surprise. She and her husband struggled to make ends meet, but they had to buy a baby formula. Thankfully, someone with a good heart has helped them get through the week.

Found a five-dollar bill

Banks was checking up on the formula bottle at the top when she found something not found elsewhere. She found a five-dollar bill neatly folded, which made her looked back at her husband. Her husband denied having placed the bill and likewise thought that she was the one who placed the bill inside the formula.

It was just the right moment for the dollar bill to pop up. Banks was touched that there are still people who want to help others in need. She thinks it is an "awesome thing."

She shared her story on Facebook

Banks wanted to shed some light on what she had experienced while buying formula for her baby. She shared the story on her Facebook and received overwhelming feedback from others. She said that the outreach from the people in the group has been amazing.

Many offered baby formula while others asked for her Cashapp or Paypal account. While Banks appreciated all the help that people wanted to give to her, she told them she is good and could get by until her next paycheck.

In the end, Banks learned that there would always be people who would be willing to help those who are in need, especially during these trying times.

Due to the pandemic, many have been struggling because some have been laid off from their job. Others have to stay at home to care for their family. Thankfully, many have gone out of their way to help their communities by raising funds or sharing what they have.
