Take time to celebrate all small things in the family

In the show, we see Mitch and Cam trying to figure out how to work on parenting gracefully after successfully adapting their pretty baby Lily. And as Lily slowly develops and learning things, we can see how Mitch and Cam celebrate every little thing Lily knows and achieve.

A smile or making friends as a young child may be the little things they celebrate. But Lilly's parents, no matter what, is always proud of her! As Mitch and Cam did, a simple celebration of simple things your children do is a useful parenting tip.

Accepting that every kid is unique and different from each other

Be fantastic parents like Claire and Phil, and they did not try to have their kids change themselves for them. As parents, they accept that they each have unique personality characteristics and dreams in reality, including their children. And as amazing parents, they even help them and assuming who they are. Challenges would come, but Claire and Phil never seek to make their kids all the same.

It is essential to own your mistakes

Let your kiddos know what responsibilities are and best to acknowledge their mistakes. And as the parents in Modern Family, taking responsibility for their errors sets an excellent example to their children.

Even though your kids grow up, they always end up coming back

In the "Best Men," episode, Claire asked Haley to go out with her for dinner, and they went to see Alex playing in a band. When Haley was younger, Claire wanted to bond as they had, but she was upset when Haley went off halfway through the evening with a friend.

Even though Haley cared a lot about being famous and social, she always keeps letting Claire and Phil knew that she loves them. This kind of parenting tip is a valuable piece of advice since it can be difficult to let children go when they grow up.
