Alec Baldwin Is Going to Be a Dad Again: Hilaria Baldwin Reveals She is Pregnant With Their 7th Child

Alec Baldwin is going to be a father once again. Pregnant Hilaria Baldwin made the stunning announcement on social media platform Instagram, revealing that she and her Hollywood star husband are expecting their seventh baby together.

The 38-year-old "Living Clearly Method" author posted a video on Tuesday, March 29 of the grand reveal, telling her Instagram followers that after many ups and downs over the past few years, they have an exciting up and a huge surprise, that being another Baldwinito is coming this fall.

Baldwin added that they were pretty sure their family was complete, and they are beyond happy with this surprise. According to a report by Us Weekly, The 63-year-old actor and the former yoga instructor can be seen in the footage telling their children, Carmen, 8, Rafael, 6, Leonardo, 5, Romeo, 3, Eduardo, 18 months, and Lucia, 12 months, the exciting baby news.

Baldwin shares that baby is a blessing during these uncertain times

The Massachusetts native wrote that their new baby is a very bright spot in their lives and that he or she is a blessing and a gift during such uncertain times.

Baldwin went on to address her followers, saying she missed them during her break from social media. Hilaria added that she is now back and that she is looking forward to continuing this wild journey that they call life.

The Emmy-award winning actor was previously married to Hollywood actress Kim Basinger. The two of them welcomed a daughter named Ireland back in 1995. She is now 26 years old. Baldwin and Basinger decided to call it quits years later with their divorce finalized in 2002.

The New York native first met wife Hilaria by chance at a New York City restaurant in February 2011. The two started dating months after and became engaged in April 2012. According to the New York Daily News, Alec and Hilaria eventually got married in a Catholic ceremony at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in New York City on June 30, 2012.

The pair did not wait long to start growing their family. Their oldest child Carmen arrived in 2013 followed by son Rafael two years later. Three more boys followed suit with Leonardo, Romeo and Eduardo born in 2016, 2018 and 2020, respectively. The couple then revealed in March 2021 that they secretly welcomed their sixth baby via a surrogate.

Pregnancy announcement comes in the midst of shooting investigation

The Baldwins were thrilled to add baby Lucia to their family, with Hilaria writing on Instagram that the Baldwinitos were craving so much to have a little sister. Three months after that post, Hilaria joked about expanding their family even further.

Before that would happen, though, tragedy struck the family after Baldwin was involved in a fatal shooting on the set of his movie "Rust." NBC News reported that the gun Baldwin was practicing with fired a live round, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza. An investigation is still ongoing regarding that incident.
