Bill Gates' Daughter Phoebe Gets Trolled with Racist Remarks Over Black 'Boyfriend'

Phoebe Gates, the youngest daughter of Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates was being trolled with vile racist abuse after sharing a romantic Instagram post of herself being kissed on the cheek by her rumored black boyfriend.

Phoebe, a 19-year-old Standford University student, posted the romantic image on her Instagram stories on Wednesday, and after a few minutes, the post was flooded with crude and racist comments.

In the photo, she was leaning toward an unnamed man while he was kissing her on the cheek. The beau appears to have a pair of binoculars in his hands. Although the picture seemed innocuous, the Twitter universe quickly reacted that Phoebe was dating a black man. Many comments were crude jokes suggesting that her rumored boyfriend is using her to get to her father's money, New York Post reports.

A Twitter user said that Phoebe's net worth is projected at $130 Billion. Netizens think that he is not her equal. Another one posted a video of a black man doing a celebratory dance with a caption when Phoebe's boyfriend gets added to the joint account.

Another tweeted a video of a black man waving a gun while swerving his car across the road, describing how Phoebe and her boyfriend might pull up to Bill Gate's house for Thanksgiving.

A comment where dozens of people chimed in said that this was the dream that Martin Luther King (MLK) spoke about.

Several comments even urged the boyfriend to "get her pregnant," while others said he had "secured the bag."

An Instagram user said they now understand why Bill Gates told his kids that they are not getting an inheritance, referring to Bill's previous revelation that he would not leave most of his wealth to his children. Per Daily Mail, Gates said during a TED conference in Canada in 2014 that he would leave most of his fortune to the family's foundation.

This is not the first time that a celebrity was bashed for their interracial dates. In May, LeBron James' son Bronny, 17, faced vile racist abuse after he took a white girl as his high school prom date. The young James posted images of them arriving at the event in a $326,000 custom Mercedes GT sports car, ABD Post reports.

He attended the event with one of his classmates, Peyton Gelfuso. However, some people on the net were unhappy with his decision to date a "light-skinned" girl to prom. His post was flooded with several nasty comments about the pair.

Someone said that the girl is whiter than white. A tweet added that he should have gotten a black queen like his dad, adding a black emoji.

Another post implied that the girl was after Bronny's money, saying they lost another black king to a money-hungry white girl. Another user branded her a "gold digger," citing Kanye West's song, Gold Digger. Others shared GIFs and memes to show their disappointment with his choice of date.

But many defended the budding basketball star. Someone commented that anyone mad at Bronny's choice of date is part of the problem in today's society.
