A West Virginia baby has become an instant celebrity after he was welcomed into the world in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store on July 11.

Allie Sayers, a now mom of three, had a planned C-section on the calendar for her third kid, but she suddenly went into labor two days before the appointment. Sayers was being taken to the hospital for the delivery when she asked her fiancée, Chase Bush, to pull their vehicle over.

In an interview with WDTV, she said she knew her baby was coming, and there was no way he was waiting. She added that her fiancée delivered their baby in the car's front seat with their other two children in the backseat at 3:30 in the morning.

Dad had no clue what he was doing during the surprise delivery

According to the media outlet, the little boy, named Waylon Bush, weighed six pounds, eight ounces and was 19 inches long at the time of his birth.

Chase's sister, Ambra Bush, said her brother did not even realize the date was 7/11 when he performed the surprise delivery. He just told her sister, "I just delivered your nephew." Ambra pointed out the date to her brother, with both of them sharing a laugh about it afterward.

She told Fox Business that her brother was in construction and had no clue what he was doing with the delivery. She added that the baby was born with the cord wrapped around his neck, but his dad acted quickly to unwrap the cord.

Ambra said the 911 operator was trying to help guide him through the delivery, but he was like, "I already did it." Young Waylon was welcomed into the world while his two siblings, seven-year-old Aliannah and five-year-old Bryson, watched in the car.

7-Eleven offers a few perks to the couple and their baby

According to Ambra, Chase reportedly said his two children had a stunned look after the surprise delivery, but both were fine. Bush noted that Sayers had a long labor with her first kid and an emergency C-section with her second child. She added that Sayers' contractions began early that morning, but her water did not break.

A baby born at 7-Eleven on July 11 did not go unnoticed by the popular convenience store chain, as they offered the couple and their baby Waylon a few perks. 7-Eleven issued a statement to People magazine, saying that Baby Waylon now shares the 95th birthday of the convenience store retailer, and to celebrate this serendipitous event, 7-Eleven is gifting Allie and Chase with seven years of free coffee to help them stay awake on their latest nights or earliest mornings.

7-Eleven also will be gifting the infant and his family a care package filled with 7-Eleven and Slurpee branded items, including diapers, onesies, and other essentials, according to the store.
