Dad Turns Truck Cabin Into Princess Bedroom So Daughter Can Travel With Parents on the Road

Videos of a dad converting the cabin of his truck into a princess bedroom so he can take his daughter on the road have gone viral in mainland China. The clip has been a huge hit, amassing over 110 million views on the social media platform Weibo alone.

A woman surnamed Hu posted a video on her Douyin account earlier this month of her and her husband taking their young four-year-old daughter on their coal freight truck. The couple decorated the cab with floral bedding and drapery and placed some stuffed toys on the dashboard.

The 24-year-old father can be seen in the video of the family from Qujing in southwestern China's Yunnan province, driving the truck and concentrating on the road. The video shows his beloved daughter sleeping peacefully in a bed behind the driver's seat.

Couple takes advantage of daughter's summer vacation 

Hu, also 24, said her daughter is four years old, and she is very thoughtful. She added that both she and her husband decided to take advantage of their daughter's summer vacation to take her out on the road in their truck to experience life.

Hu added her daughter also enjoys being on the road because she finds everything in the outside world interesting and new. The mom said they often left their daughter at home with the child's grandmother because of their hectic work schedules, South China Morning Post reported.

Hu explained that she and her husband started driving heavy trucks when they were 20 years old, and it has been four years since they have been doing this line of work. Because of their busy schedules, Hu noted they barely have enough time to spend with their kid.

According to Hu, the family has been in the delivery business, starting with her father-in-law, who is still working as a heavy truck driver. She said her daughter is also very familiar with riding on a truck because their child was born into a family of truck drivers.

Hu responded to people's questions after the first videos went viral by posting another clip. She wrote that they are both 24 years old and not too young or too old. She added that they could not make everyone happy, but they will continue to work hard to make their tiny home better and better and their parents and child happy.
