The family was in their brown Toyota Avalon in Memphis, Tenn that time when he pulled over to lend a hand to someone he thought had an accident.

The father stopped the vehicle when he spot a car accident between a white Kia and a blue pick-up truck. According to the posted statement of the Memphis Police Department on Twitter, the driver of the Kia had a gash on his forehead and revealed that the vehicle had been stolen prior to the accident.

The father said that he won't allow the traumatic experience to stop him from lending a helping hand in the future. He described the situation as if God had him as he reunited with his three children and reminded everyone that if one's heart tells you to help, do not hesitate to assist, Action News says.
