A single dad of three in Ohio is melting hearts online with his wholesome dating application. In a now-viral TikTok video, Chris Cozad explained that he is looking for a date later this month to take to a local amusement park.

The 44-year-old said he is looking for a plus-one to accompany his 15-year-old daughter, her friend, and himself to Kings Island on Saturday, September 10, 2022. According to the engineer, his ideal companion is at least 34 years old and should be a non-smoker. He added that his date should also enjoy rollercoasters.

He teased during the video that the gray hairs in his beard should not fool his dating applicants. He said that he also has the "Dad bod" to go with it and if that is not enough incentive, this also comes with a Fast Lane Plus pass, so they can skip the rollercoaster lines all day long.

Single dad gets thousands of applications

When Cozad posted the hilarious video clip on Sunday, he only expected to get a couple of replies. His video proved to be a huge hit, though, as the single father received thousands of applications from women wanting to be his date next week.

One person wrote in the comments that one of her top wanted qualities is someone who loves rollercoasters and understands the importance of the fast pass. She said to let her know if he has not found someone for the amusement park visit.

Another user wrote that she would turn 33 on Friday and loves rollercoasters. She admits to taking anti-nausea medicine for the rollercoaster rides, but that does not stop her from riding them.

With the help of his 15-year-old daughter Carissa and 16-year-old stepdaughter Kaley, Cozad has finally made his choice, but he is not ready to reveal the woman's name just yet.

Cozad told TODAY Parents that she is very private, but he said he liked how she worded her response, adding that her confidence came through in her reply. He noted that they are meeting tonight, with his kids helping him select a cool outfit for the date.

Cozad shares he has found his date for September 10

Cozad shared in a TikTok video titled "Part 2" on Tuesday that he has found his plus-one for September 10. The single dad also revealed that he had made a new friend through this dating quest, a 34-year-old widow with two young sons.

He said in the video that he did not pick her, but there was something he wanted to do for her and her boys. He then announced that he was purchasing tickets for his new friend and her family to go to Kings Island.

Cozad concluded his message by thanking everyone who commented on his dating application, saying that it has been a lot of fun, a lot of smiles, and just a joy. He promised to update his followers about his date, saying that Part 3 was coming soon from the park.
