Supermodel Gigi Hadid Calls 2-Year-Old Daughter A 'Blessing' Says Being Mom Is 'So Much Fun'

The supermodel can't compare motherhood to the glitz and glamour of modeling and fashion. She is living the best life with her little girl.

Twenty-seven years old Gigi Hadid opened up about being a mom to her two-year-old daughter Khai on Sunday Today with Willie Geist.

The supermodel described her daughter, which she shares with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik, as a genius, and then shared that she thinks every parent calls their kids that. She also declared that being a mother is so much fun especially now that Khai gets to talk, understands and remembers. It just gets more fun every day.

More than these though, she tells the world that her daughter is a blessing.

'My greatest pride...'

This statement just echoes what she posted on her Instagram account last year.

With a blurry photo of her and baby Khai she stated the caption, "The rumors are true: my best friend, purpose, muse, greatest pride & joy! I feel so lucky and inspired bein' your mama, my Khai!! An old soul full of sunshine, you light up everyone's days!" She then expressed her thank you to her baby girl three times.

She also had a post a few years back saying that she is already back to working again as a model, yet motherhood is the best job ever. But she also expressed that motherhood won't stop her from giving her best to her job as well as being better in her career.

In this week's Sunday Sitdown, Hadid also talked about her fashion brand, "Guest in Residence," and gave Giest a tour of their headquarters. Moreover, the supermodel shared her desire and hopes to refine and harness her years in front of the camera, with the aim of creating a "model for the future."

Co-parenting with Malik

It is Khai's birth month, with Hadid giving birth to her last September of 2020.

She and Malik were still together then but ended their five years on-and off relationship a year after their daughter was born. Yet, they remained friends as they co-parent Khai.

In fact, Hadid honored the former One Direction member with a sweet Father's Day post on her Instagram Story, People reported.

After sharing a beautiful tribute for her own dad, Mohamed Hadid, and calling him her "sweet baba," she then honored Malik by sharing a photo of him and their daughter calling him "Khai's baba". The photo showed a father-daughter playtime moment where both were creating art using large markers.

It can also be recalled that when Khai was born the supermodel proclaimed that they were so in love with her that she had already changed their world. Hadid said that nothing has changed a bit. Khai has continued changing their worlds and they cannot stop falling in love with her.
