Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid Are on Good Terms as Co-Parents

The former One Direction member Zayn Malik and American model Gigi Hadid are on good terms as co-parents, and the latter intends to keep it that way. A source revealed to a news outlet that the supermodel has her walls up as she's on better terms with the British singer. The source added that the model was not rushing into a serious relationship; although she's interested in pursuing a relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio, the 27-year-old appears to be busy with her modeling career and being there for her daughter. The Guest in Residence creator shares 2-year-old daughter Khai with Malik. 

Hadid first sparked dating rumors with the "Titanic" actor in early September. Various news outlets had confirmed the "The Revenant" star's split from Camila Morrone after four years of being together before the rumors of him and Hadid began.

An insider also revealed that it was no coincidence that the supermodel and the 47-year-old actor were both in Paris for the city's Fashion Week, adding that the two have been secretly dating and spending time together privately. The two are very fond of each other and mostly meet in secret places.

Gigi and Zayn share a healthy co-parenting relationship

The "Pillowtalk" singer dated the Maybelline spokesperson on and off from 2015 to 2021. The former couple welcomed Khai in September 2020. In October 2021, several news came out of Malik's alleged altercation with the model's mom, Yolanda Hadid. However, the "History" singer denied the allegations.

Malik firmly denied striking Yolanda adding that he won't give any further details for the sake of his daughter. However, the composer hopes Yolanda will reconsider her released false allegations as Khai is his main priority, and he worries about his daughter's image. He hopes to move forward along with his family in a private manner. In the same month, the singer pleaded no contest to four counts of harassment, was put on 360 days of probation, and had to complete an anger management class and domestic violence.

Despite having broken up, the two shares a healthy co-parenting relationship. The Tommy Hilfiger ambassador even shares a cute little snap of Malik and their daughter on Father's Day on her Instagram account. A source told Cosmopolitan that the exes encounter challenges that come with the co-parenting territory, but they are doing their best to make it work for Khai's sake.

Gigi tags her former partner in Khai's birthday post

Khai turned two years old on September 19, with the supermodel sharing the adorable Peppa Pig-themed birthday cake she got for her daughter's celebration on her Instagram stories. The four-tier cake made by Buddy Valastro's Carlo's Bakery featured a sunny landscape, Peppa Pig, and her animal friends in fondant in icing and captioned the post "Our angel girl turned 2 today" while tagging the shop and Malik, per Billboard.

The Michael Kors model recently shared with Sunday Today that motherhood is both fun and a blessing while admitting it was a challenging responsibility. She revealed that the more her daughter talks and remembers, everything gets even more fun.
