'WWE 2K16' Trailer 'Bonfire' Launched, Learn About Gameplay Plot -- Will These New Features Make Or Break The Title? [Video]

Many are excited to get their hands on the upcoming game "WWE 2K16." Well, it seems that 2K is fully aware of the hype building up the game as they tease fans with another trailer, named "Bonfire."

The "WWE 2K16's" "Bonfire" trailer features Sting, WWE Diva Paige, Seth Rollins, Kane Rusev, and the superstar wrestler "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who graced the cover of this year's game, The Christian Post reports.

The over one-minute footage shows the wrestlers aforementioned slowly walking towards the bonfire that is lit on the beach. The players are wearing their popular costumes and one by one they tossed a memento of the rival they defeated into the bonfire as a short clip of the encounter is played afterwards. Their faces were filled with determination to win the next match.

Meanwhile, for those wondering about the potential of "WWE 2K16," here's a short list of the game's elements that could determine the fate of the title on how the game will be played or will be received by fans, according to Bleacher Report.

1. Online Matchmaking

The report suggests that online matchmaking in the previous versions has been a hit-or-miss or lacking the rhyme and reason. "2K altered the online options offered in WWE 2K16 based on fan feedback, which will include a revised matchmaking system and other ways to play with the WWE Games community," according to WWE.com.

It's difficult to confirm what the statement means, but hopefully, this time online matchmaking is better than last year's title where the verbiage menu is confusing and finding a match is difficult. However, with "WWE 2K16's" improved online functionality, there's a reason to be optimistic with this feature.

2. Universe Mode's Functionality

Universe Mode has more depth compared to any other mode, but there were several restrictions. Good news!, in the upcoming title the developers already removed many of the restrictions that have been placed in the Universe mode. According to WWE.2K.com, gamers can now attach Superstars to multiple brands which will provide players more options when booking for matches. Moreover, injuries have been added. When the gamer injures a Superstar the effect of the said injuries will be visible in future matches or if in case the injury is severe, the recipient will be unable to compete temporarily.

3. Physics

To add mood to the game, the developers improve the physics of the game. It now features interaction with tables, ring post and a kendo stick. "WWE 2K16" will come with a more authentic look-and-feel with its improved and realistic animation.

"WWE 2K16" will be released on Oct. 27 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
