'King's Quest Chapter 2: Rubble Without A Cause' Out Dec 15 on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 & PC via Steam; 3 More Chapters Out in 2016 [Video]

Sierra has announced that the second chapter of The Odd Gentlemen's "King's Quest" will be available in the market in just a couple of weeks. Fans will wait no longer for the second episode of the series, which is entitled "The King's Quest Chapter 2: Rubble Without A Cause," because they can have the full version on Dec. 15 in North America and Dec. 16 in Europe.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the game will be available in various consoles including Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and in Windows PC.

The news outlet has also revealed what appears to be a spoiler. "King Graham takes players back to his first test as ruler of Daventry. When a band of goblins holds the kingdom hostage, a newly crowned and ill-equipped Graham must lead a daring rescue to free his people and prove himself the leader they deserve."

Meanwhile, Sierra Games has also released a trailer for the fans to look forward to during its final release. They also revealed that the three remaining episodes will be launched in 2016.

This was confirmed by the video game writer, Lindsey Rostal. She even said that all episodes will be out in 2016 with the exception of Episode 2, which will ultimately come out two weeks from now, iDigital Times reported.

"It will follow a relatively similar [release] schedule," said Rostal, who is a producer at The Odd Gentleman. "We're making these as we go, and we're a small team of about 20 or so people," she added.

One of many reasons why the series is being released per chapter is because it benefits both the users and the company. In that way, fans can enjoy each episode released while waiting for the next one to come.

It also gives the game creators time to evaluate feedback coming from critics that they can use to improve the succeeding episodes. "You can say 'OK, what are people connecting to and what aren't they connecting to?" Rostal said.

"Obviously it has to fit into the larger story that we are choosing to tell, but it does allow us to make some design decisions and everything else that we think will allow us to evolve the game moving forward," she added.

In the meantime, fans can catch the first episode free for PlayStation Plus members. "King's Quest: A Knight to Remember" is available to them all month long, Trusted Reviews revealed.
